Alice Coote Mezzo-soprano

Alice Coote is regarded as one of the leading artists of her generation. Her opera and concert repertoire spans from Monteverdi and Handel to Debussy, Mahler and Britten. Awards include the Brigitte Fassbaender Award for Lieder Interpretation and the Decca Kathleen Ferrier Prize. Alice is also a much sought-after recitalist, working with Julius Drake. Their recent EMI disc, featuring songs by Schumann and Mahler, received widespread acclaim.
