Camilla Tilling Soprano

Swedish soprano, Camilla Tilling, has in her still young career made debuts at many of the world's major opera houses including Covent Garden, the Met, Chicago, La Scala, San Francisco, Paris and at the Aix-en-Provence and Glyndebourne Festivals. A versatile concert artist and committed recitalist, Camilla has worked with many of the world's leading conductors including Mackerras, Masur, Muti, Harding, Minkowski, Haim, Pappano, Salonen, Gatti and Gardiner, and has made several major recordings including Cherubini Mass in D minor with Riccardo Muti (EMI); Mahler Symphony No 4 with the Philharmonia/Zander (Telarc); Belinda in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas with Emanuelle Haïm and Grieg’s Peer Gynt with Paavo Jarvi (both on Virgin Classics), Mozart’s C-minor Mass/Beethoven’s Ah! Perfido with Paul McCreesh (DG Archiv), and most recently, her first solo recording - Rote Rosen, a selection of Lieder by Richard Strauss with Paul Rivinius (BIS) which has been met which unanimous critical acclaim.
