Elena Maximova graduated from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatoire. She made her European debut in the production of Rigoletto (Maddalena) at the Bayerische Staatsoper in 2005.
Today she sings parts in the most of the theatre’s repertoire; among them are Poline (The Queen of Spades), Siebel (Faust), Prince Orlovsky (Die Fledermaus), Suzuki (Madama Butterfly), Olga (Eugene Onegin), the title role of Carmen and Charlotte (Werther).
She carries on an intensive concert activity and enjoys collaboration with various notable Russian orchestras.
In upcoming seasons, she will sing Preziosilla in La Forza del Destino at Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and the title role of Carmen for her debuts at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan and the Wiener Staatsoper.
