Season 2009-10 appearances include Il Trittico in both the roles of Gianni Schicchi and Michele at San Francisco Opera, Dulcamara L'elisir d'amore at the Bastille in Paris, his signature role of Rigoletto at Finnish National Opera, Alzira at St. Gallen Festival in Switzerland, Roberto Devereux in Munich, and Aida at Oper Leipzig.
